The 4Ever is FAA approved for airline use *with the harness*. It has a 10-year lifespan, and it must be replaced after any crash. Graco has determined that the 4Ever CAN be installed with inflatable seat belts found in some Ford Motor Company vehicles.
Does a high-back booster need to be tethered?
If your child's ears come up past the vehicle seat, they should use a high-back booster. Typically boosters sit in the back passenger seat without being tethered down. Some provide connectors that attach to your vehicle's anchors to keep the booster secured to the vehicle seat.
Do booster seats need to be anchored?
Booster seats do need to be necessarily anchored. But mostly it depends on the car you are using. Latching the seat in the right place is the main reason for anchoring the booster seat. Although many car models do not let you anchor the booster seat.
Can forward facing carseats recline?
To match the natural angle/slope of different vehicle seats, some car seat models do allow semi-reclined position(s) to be used in forward-facing installations. PLEASE NOTE: Adjustable vehicle seats must be in the upright position for installation with Safety 1st car seats.
