Does baby movement slow down closer to due date?

From around 32 weeks, your baby's activity will stay roughly the same until you give birth. The number of movements you feel each day will plateau around this time, but they should not drop off. Your baby should continue to move to his usual pattern as you near your due date.

Is it normal to feel baby kick one day and not the next?

For women who have been pregnant at least once before, fetal movement can be felt as early as 14 to 15 weeks. Fetal movement prior to 25 to 26 weeks, however, can be inconsistent. This means that you may feel a lot of movement one day and very little the next.

Do babies have less active days in the womb?

First Movements

Until around 30 weeks baby movements will be sporadic. Some days the movements are many, other days the movements are fewer. Healthy babies in normal pregnancies will move here and there, now and again, without strong or predictable activity.

Reduced fetal movement

As your baby grows, you may start to feel that she's less active. The truth is that if she's healthy, she's moving as much as she did when she was smaller, but her movements feel different because she's all folded up and wedged in your uterus.
